«We were fascinated by the seal. The use of wood as a material and the clear lines reflect our idea of a timeless product increasing in value with use. By applying modern technologies we were able to design a more user-friendly KOIN and by adding further sizes we have created an entire product family.»

Bruno Limberger 1934–1994
Bruno Limberger was a devoted architect, artist and host. After completing his studies at the college of applied arts in Zurich, his career path included positions at Belmag, Philips and Globus. When he set up his own design practice in 1968, his passion remained focussed on designing department store interiors and developing design concepts for shop units. Throughout his life he was dedicated to creating and developing the “ideal” everyday object. This ambition drove him to design various products such as the ideal shoe rack, coat rack, money box, umbrella, coat hanger, dining table, shopping bag, wallet, purse, desk lamp as well as the very clever and flexible “Converta” storage system. As a host and perfectionist, Bruno Limberger fulfilled another of his life-long ambitions by delighting his guests with exiting dishes and innovative recipes.
