Masao Kurozumi

He studied Commercial Design at the Tokyo School of Business and subsequently gained practical experience working for reputable design companies.
Masao Kurozumi set up his own company, Cactus Design Inc, in 1995.
He made his mark as a graphic designer, in particular with memorable poster and bus placard campaigns.
As early as 1991 Kurozumi received his first award, i.e. the Shizuoka Tourism and Handcraft Prize for exceptional poster design.
Gunte, his cleverly designed and multifunctional work glove, recently caused furore from Sydney to New York.
Masao Kurozumi received the Good Design Award for Gunte on 1 October 2007.
